Welcome to the Integral African Conference (IAC)
Our invitation from Africa is to co-create a space for dialogue, engagement, creativity and inspiration. We will converge and connect at the Cradle of Mankind through an embrace of our deepest humanity. This conference will seek to bring thought leaders in the fields of Integral Theory, Spiral Dynamics, and African Spirituality and Consciousness to explore the kaleidoscope of our personhood that goes beyond current interpretations to include an African dialect (of such theory). We look forward to a deep emergence through awareness, experience and action into the world towards its regeneration.
This gathering will be held every second year and aims to:
1. Create a safe and inspiring space to explore and evolve integral conversations
2. Stimulate inquiry into even more diverse perspectives than currently available
3. Explore the boundaries and intersectional points between various African philosophies and their contribution to Integral Theory
4. Provide a community of practice for human consciousness practitioners
5. Promote oral history and how it can be integrated into main stream academia
6. Bring various practitioners together from an integral perspective
7. Showcase African case studies
8. Enhance the visibility of unique African leadership practices and philosophies as critical to world knowledge
Three different streams will be facilitated:
1. A stream on African consciousness and spirituality |
2. A stream on integral theory and its practice and applications |
3. A stream on Spiral Dynamics and developmental theories for individual and collective growth and its applications |
The conference will engage theory, experience, practice and community building through the art and science of integral theory and its inclusive, holistic, and multi-dimensional lenses.
In association with The Integral Africa Institute; Mandala Consulting; The African Centre of Human Emergence; The (Integral Africa) Coaching Centre (TCC); and with support from our friends at IEC.
Please note the current programme is a draft and open to changes
